Awe Walks.

The science of awe introduces us to the benefits of contemplating things that give us goosebumps, make us cry, and urge us to exclaim, “Whoa!”

It turns out that experiencing awe on the regular makes us happier and increases a sense of interdependence. Awe changes our perception and preoccupation with yourself and allows our viewpoint to widen and take in the mystery that is life.

Finally, we took some time to feel into the experience of being part of a class that explored our inner lives more than we normally do and how it felt to do it with each other in community.

Now, take an awe walk.

  1. Take an awe walk at least once this week. Forget about how many steps you are getting in, just

  2. Notice the beauty of your surroundings as though you have never seen them before.

  3. Check-in with your body to see what it feels like as you experience awe. Do you have goosebumps? Does your heart feel warm? Do you want to show someone else?
