Drawing Emotions.

One way to process emotions is to draw them - it helps us get out of our mental models or thoughts about emotions and connect with them directly.

Grab your visual journal and draw some emotions.

For example:

ANGER

What does anger feel like in your body? What color is it?

What shape is it? What texture is it? Can you find images (in photos or even a magazine) that best show the way you experience anger?

JOY

Sense into what joy feels like in your body?

What color is it? What shape is it? What texture does it have? Can you find images that best demonstrate the way you experience joy?
